Aston Villa’s announcement of a £100m redevelopment of the Villa Park North Stand is the latest major investment

from the club;s owners.

Due to worries that the team would have to play major games with a drastically lower capacity, Villa’s initial plans to

entirely rebuild the North Stand were abandoned back in 2023.

According to the recently revealed, unfinished drawings, the enormous project is expected to be completed in 2017,

one year before Villa hosts games at Euro 2028.

Villa Park will be able to accommodate more than 50,000 people thanks to plans for a £100 million renovation of the

North Stand.
