The White Rose trio advances after winning their respective regions.

Kenzee Liversidge, a 15-year-old boxer weighing 52 kg from Hemsworth; Jack Taylor, a 17-year-old youth boxer from Barnsley; and Henry Dolan, a 14-year-old junior boxer from Leeds, were the three White Roses that advanced to the regional finals after winning their semifinals. The White Rose club’s day began with Kenzee boxing a skilled southpaw from Wakefield Trinity Boxing Club, their neighbours, Sam Blandford, at the regional finals, which took place at Bridlington Sports Centre. Despite a fierce battle, Kenzee prevailed in the end with a 4-1 split victory.
Henry, who had easily won his semi-final the previous week, was next. He took on a really tough boy from Paul Ingle’s Hull Boxing Academy, but he was focused and paid attention to his instructions, keeping his feet and catching the opponent each time he entered the ring. His dominant performance made for an intriguing fight, as he sealed the victory with a standing eight count to win by unanimous decision. Last up was Jack Taylor, who was facing a Sheffield City facing Club opponent. After two 50-50 rounds, the score was tied at one apiece going into the third round.
After receiving some motivation from White Rose’s new youthful coach, Barnsley-born former amateur boxer Aidan Perry, who is only eighteen himself, Jack easily won the third round with two standing eight counts. The judges were forced to give him a unanimous victory as a result. All three boys will now go to the competition’s national stages, where they will box on October 12 in the Yorkshire region’s Bridlington in the national quarterfinals.
