We are happy to announce that Will Roberts has joined the Widnes Vikings on a two-week loan from St Helens.
The youthful halfback, who has scored two tries in three games while on loan for Swinton this season, is the younger brother of Vikings star Max Roberts.
“I’ve watched him since he was six or seven years old,” stated head coach Allan Coleman. He’s definitely Max’s brother, and I’ve tutored him previously.
He has exceptional kicking ability, is a true run danger, and is a really gifted player. He will be crucial to our success since he scores a lot of tries as a half.
“I think the fans will see what he has to offer this weekend, and he’s going to come in and lift us.”
