Wolves approach for free signing – Vítor Pereira’s side can offer what player is seeking

Wolverhampton Wanderers are considering signing Sassuolo’s Jeremy Toljan this summer.

The Italian club signed the right-back on loan from Borussia Dortmund in 2019, and he became a permanent member two years later. He was a regular last season and an important member of Sassuolo’s squad that won promotion to Serie A.

Toljan will become a free agent next Tuesday, and the Wolves are one of his alternatives.

Fussball Transfers States Vítor Pereira sees the 30-year-old as a perfect candidate for the right-back position. They claim that the Premier League team has made contact about signing him on a free transfer this summer.

Genoa, VfB Stuttgart, and an unknown club in Spain are also interested in the German. Despite Sassuolo’s elevation to the top flight, Toljan plans to move because he wants a fresh challenge in his career.

According to the article, the fullback might ‘find what he’s searching for in England,’ with Wolves being his suitor.

Nélson Semedo was Molineux’s first-choice right-back last season, and his contract ends next Monday. The former Barcelona player is expected to quit Wolves, and Toljan might be his replacement.
