Wolves handed Joao Gomes and Andre boost ahead of Premier League return

Before returning to the Premier League, Wolves gave Joao Gomes and Andre a boost.

Two of those are the Wolves midfield tandem of Joao Gomes and Andre, who spent a few friendlies in Asia with the Brazil squad. Vitor Pereira can begin getting his men ready for Sunderland this weekend once they return.

There are currently no injuries to worry about, so the Wolves manager should have a complete roster to select from before a pivotal game against a recently promoted team. In light of this, Pereira will be thrilled to have his favourite midfield players healthy and available for action. Because neither Andre nor Joao Gomes played during the international break, we are aware of this. In recent games, Pereira has been tinkering with the team, but those two are the best candidates to start for Wolves.

The midfield three will be a change, and it will be intriguing to see who the third midfielder will be, but you can be sure the two Brazilians will appear. Their quality hasn’t faded despite Wolves’ troubles, as indicated by Carlo Ancelotti’s decision to call them up. However, the participants themselves can have a different viewpoint. Having been benched for both friendly games, the two Wolves stars have good right to be perplexed. They would have heard Ancelotti mention that he wanted to see how the Wolves two played and that he was getting close to making a choice on the Brazil team he would bring to the World Cup.

He decided not to use them, though. For Wolves supporters, that’s fantastic, but not so much for Andre and Gomes. Every position in the Brazil midfield, as well as every other position, is extremely competitive. They must therefore make an impression, which is challenging from the dugout. Wolves may also benefit from the additional drive to find their winning form and make sure they are part of the Italian’s November plans.
