Wolves offer expected in ‘coming hours’ – Encouragement for Vítor Pereira’s side to push forward

According to a French rumor, Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Matthis Abline from FC Nantes this summer.

Last season, the striker had 11 goals and two assists in 36 games for the Ligue 1 team.

Le Parisien reports on Paris FC and Wolves’ interest in the 22-year-old, as well as the most recent news on these two clubs.

Paris FC, who have been promoted to the top division, are desperate to add Abline to their team during this window.

It’s reported that their management has persuaded the frontman, and all that remains is for them to reach an arrangement with Nantes. Their president, Waldemar Kita, remains’very hungry regarding Albine’ and wants €50 million to sell him.

Paris FC does not intend to offer more than €20-25 million. L’Equipe even reports that their €25 million bid has been rejected by their Ligue 1 competitor, who is requesting €50 million.

Le Parisien makes no mention of the offer being rejected. They do say Paris FC should be aware of the competition, particularly from England, where Wolves are interested.

According to the newspaper, Vítor Pereira’s side is poised to present an offer in the coming hours. It is unclear whether Wolves are likely to accept Kita’s €50 million proposal.

Paris FC’s unwillingness to pay more than €25 million on Abline should be encouraging for Wolves.
