
Woman arrested after five-vehicle motorway crash.

The collision occurred near junction 5 of the southbound M1.
Following a motorway collision involving five vehicles, a woman was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury through dangerous driving.
Five people were injured, two of them seriously, in an accident on the M1 southbound near junction five for Watford on Friday at around 16:40 BST.
Police said it involved a white Ford Fiesta, a skip loader, a blue Mini Cooper, a black Ford Focus, and a black Volvo XC90.
According to Sgt David McIlwhan of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, “The road was busy at the time, and I would appeal to anyone who saw what happened to please make contact.”
