Woman hit and killed during Met Police car chase.

A woman died after being hit by a driver fleeing police in north-west London, according to the Metropolitan Police.

It occurred at approximately 14:10 GMT in Grahame Park Way, Edgware. According to the Metropolitan Police, officers treated the woman before paramedics arrived, but she died on the scene.

The car had been driving away from a police vehicle before the collision and had not stopped at the scene, according to the force.

The vehicle was discovered abandoned a short time later.

There have been no arrests, but road closures remain in effect, and efforts to locate the car’s occupants continue.
