Wrexham starts a low-cost transfer “offensive” for a graduate of Birmingham City

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are allegedly interested in a deal for a player who departed Tom Brady’s Blues last summer.

Jordan James, a graduate of Birmingham City’s academy, may be playing for the Blues’ rivals Wrexham in the Championship again.

L’Equipe claims that the Red Dragons are one of two second-tier teams that have the 21-year-old “in their sights.” The League One runners-up and another unidentified Championship team are reportedly launching “an offensive” against the midfield player, who left Blues for Rennes just a year ago, according to the report.

Parma, who managed to avoid relegation back to Serie B the previous season, is reportedly also interested in signing James on loan with a buyout option.

The relationship between Wrexham and the Blues is intriguing, in part because of their developing rivalry stemming from the antics of their respective celebrity owners and the fact that the Blues crushed Phil Parkinson’s team during the previous season’s title chase.

on addition, James would join players like Kieffer Moore, Danny Ward, and Nathan Broadhead on their team since they appear to be pursuing Wales internationals and he has 20 caps.

Even though he still has three years left on his Ligue 1 contract, L’Equipe adds that Rennes is in negotiations with Wrexham over a €5 million transfer. Burnley reportedly wanted him for £12 million earlier this summer.

After advancing through the Blues’ development system and despite playing a year behind his peers because of his diminutive size, James developed into a member of the first squad.

Before relocating to France, he demonstrated strong goal-scoring ability in his 105 appearances with the Blues. He scored one goal in his 25 appearances last season.

On April 11 of the following year, he would return to St Andrew’s if he did relocate to Wrexham. On Friday, October 3, Blues will visit the STōK Racecourse. What kind of reception would you give JJ?.
