NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Duke Miles has signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, making him the third player from Vanderbilt’s men’s basketball team to secure a professional contract.
Over his single season at Vanderbilt, Miles put up 16.1 points and 4.5 assists per game. He played a key role in the Commodores earning back-to-back NCAA Tournament berths and securing the program’s first tournament win in more than ten years.

“Duke has always faced skepticism and has consistently answered it,” said Vanderbilt head coach Mark Byington. “His basketball IQ and versatility with or without the ball should serve him well at the next level. His character stands out, and both coaches and teammates will appreciate having him around.”
Miles also recorded 2.61 steals per game, finishing the year with 73 total takeaways. That per-game figure tied Frank Seckar for the second-highest single-season mark in Vanderbilt history, and his 73 steals matched Seckar for third on the school’s all-time single-season list.

Additionally, Miles shot 90.1 percent from the free-throw line (136-of-151), the second-best single-season percentage in program history.
Across his entire collegiate career, Miles compiled 1,800 points with a 12.5-point-per-game average. He shot 35.1 percent from three-point range and 48.0 percent overall from the field.
Miles now joins Tyler Nickel, who was drafted by the New York Knicks, and AK Okereke, who signed with the Los Angeles Lakers, as members of the 2025-26 Commodore roster to move on to the professional level.
