Auburn has added a new commitment to its 2027 recruiting class.
That pledge comes from Kynair Crumb, who made his decision public on Wednesday during an appearance on CBS Sports, confirming that he will play for head coach Alex Golesh’s program.

Crumb attends DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland, and is listed at 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. According to the 247Sports Composite, he is rated as a 3-star recruit, ranks as the No. 12 prospect in Maryland, the No. 48 safety nationally, and the No. 515 overall player in the 2027 cycle.
Throughout his recruitment, Crumb has received 20 scholarship offers, with interest coming from programs such as Wisconsin, Iowa, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse, and Vanderbilt. When making his announcement on Wednesday, he selected Auburn over finalists Penn State, Virginia Tech, and Colorado.
With Crumb’s commitment, Auburn now holds 19 verbal pledges for the 2027 class. On the Composite, that group is currently positioned at No. 14 in the national team rankings.
